During 2014 Spoudazo Enterprises identified a few Enterprise Development Candidates. One of these candidates is Matshidiso Tlali – a vegetable tunnel beneficiary on Spoudazo Township Tunnel Project. Matshidiso has shown much potential, diligence and character in working her vegetable tunnel during the last few years. In 2014 we had an in-depth discussion to find out more about her dreams and aspirations for the future. She shared with us that she dreamed of having her own business – Tlali’s African Dress Creations and Fresh Produce.
On top of her vegetable growing and selling, Matshidiso also wanted to start a sewing business where she could make and sell African dresses.
GHT Consulting (Pty) Ltd has been kind to support Spoudazo Enterprises in building the bridge between their business and Matshidiso’s future hopes. They agreed to invest in Matshidiso’s dreams, by supplying funds to buy sewing machines, material and everything that she needs to start her sewing business. The purchases to start her business will commence during the first week of September. There are also enough funds available to enlarge her humble home in Phase 7 in order to provide more working space for the sewing.
Matshidiso Tlali will start with her sewing classes with Naude in September where she will be attending weekly training sessions for a period of 8 – 10 months. Spoudazo will provide details on her progress as she continues on her journey to follow her dreams.
